Most of the businesses operate both during the day and at night, so there are opportunities to work around your study schedule.
The Australian Government recently announced some changes to student visa conditions. This includes the temporary relaxation of working hours for student visa holders.
This removes the 40 hour work restriction on work hours while courses of study are in session.
Hospitality workers are covered by the Hospitality Industry (General) Award which is published on Fair Work Australia. Depending on the role and when you are working, the pay can vary from $20 per hour to $60 per hour on public holidays.
