Childcare and Preschool

If you have a child under school-age, many private childcare centres care for children aged six weeks to school-age. If your child is four years old, you may be able to enrol them in kindergarten (or preschool) to help prepare them for starting school.

If you’re a South Australian endorsed scholarship holder studying in a South Australian university or tertiary education institution on a student visa (Subclass 500) , you may be eligible to receive a fee waiver for your child to study in a South Australian government school of your choice (subject to zoning and capacity).
